Title: Impact of Innovative computing tools in R&D for Industrial purposes

Organizer-Chairman:

Aim: This special session aims to explore the transformative role of innovative computing tools—such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, simulation software, and data analytics—in research and development activities across industrial sectors. As industries face increasing pressure to innovate, optimize processes, and reduce costs, advanced computing technologies are becoming indispensable for accelerating product development, improving performance evaluation, and supporting strategic decision-making. The session will gather researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to share recent advances, case studies, and practical applications of digital tools that enhance R&D effectiveness. Contributions may address a range of topics, including but not limited to: smart design and prototyping, process simulation and optimization, predictive maintenance, and the integration of AI in industrial workflows. By fostering cross-disciplinary discussions, this session seeks to highlight the potential of digital innovation to drive industrial competitiveness and sustainability. Oral presentations and posters are welcome. We warmly invite researchers, practitioners, and industry stakeholders to submit their contributions and share their insights and experiences in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
